My sister gave me this handy gadget for quickly and easily juicing lemons as a birthday gift. It seemed strange at first, but after I used it the first time, I declared it the greatest invention since the mandoline v-slicer for vegatables! It's so simple - you just cut the lemon in half and squeeze. In seconds, you have a whole cup of juice sans seeds and pulp. I've just learned that it comes in lime and orange sizes as well... I might just have to order that orange juicer for my morning squeeze.

It gets all the juice. You can squeeze until your hand hurts and still get juice. It saves me lemons because it takes fewer lemons to get that quarter cup of fresh lemon juice.

We have bought several different styles of hand juicers over the years.
This item had the style that we liked but was sturdy! The previous one was made of plastic and everytime we used it -it felt like it would break in our hand. This item is made of heavy metal so it can take the "big sqeeze".
This item is highly recommended for those cooks that use fresh squeezed juice.
I am glad that I bought it at Amazon. The transaction was great!

I'm so glad I read all the reviews for the different squeezers. Getting one the right size for the fruit you are squeezing is very important. I work as a manager in a French Restaurant and they have one of these squeezers. I drink Lemon water every day at least once and this squeezer makes it sooo easy. I don't have to get my hands wet, I don't have to mess with the seeds and, the amount of juice that comes out is AMAZING!!! A must have for every kitchen that uses lemons!

The lemon squeezer works well, just as other reviewers described.
However, after eight months the enamel is lifting around the drain holes and the metal is exposed making it unusable. It has been rinsed immediately after each use and washed in the dishwasher. I have no idea if it would hold up better if hand-washed, but I would not risk another $19 (incl. shipping) to find out.
