Decent hand juicer for small amountsMay 01, 2008
By KSM I wanted to love this orange squeezer (and I do love its looks and ergonomics), but really, it is good for a recipe's garnish of OJ only. For drinking an 8oz glass of OJ or more, it leaves too much juice in the orange halves. (Because of this, it leaks a bit, too.) I'm going to look into an automated juicer. I do have the lemon squeezer which is terrific for juicing both lemons & limes.

A fine and simple productFeb 08, 2008

"The Saga Continues.."
The Metal Orange Squeezer by Supreme Housewares Inc. is an great product.
As someone who enjoys fresh juice, I set about searching [...] for a good squeezer. At first, I thought about buying Black & Decker CJ525 CitrusMate Plus Citrus Juicer as it was roughly the same price as this juicer, but then I decided that I had enough plug in applications for my kitchen. Laziness abounds so I decided to pick a product that made me work for my juice. It ended up being the right decision. This squeezer is strong enough to withstand daily use, can be stored easily, and takes about 10 seconds to clean up. For best results when slicing your oranges remove any obvious seeds from the top and squeeze slowly. This product produces good quality juice with little waste.

Great for lemons too!Jan 14, 2008
By Karen B Mielke I just can't say enough good things about this. Cut the orange or lemon in half, place it cut side down (seemingly backward) and press. It catches the seeds and gets out all the juice. I have this one and the lime one, which is the same only smaller and with smaller holes. No need to get the lemon one, really!

Too messyMay 15, 2009
By Nereida Kusnadi This juicer is too messy and wastes too much juice. A reamer is sooo much better, though this looks great.
