I use my Chemex Stainless Steel Grid for keeping coffee made in my Melitta manual drip warm and it couldn't work better. If I ever lost or damaged it I would purchase it again in a heartbeat and I would recommend it to friends and family.

With a toddler running around the house I needed some way to keep my coffee warm while I try and maintain some sort of control. The steel grid keeps my chemex warm and helps make my mornings less stressful.

I have a glasstop stove and this product is great for use with glass cookware. I always store leftovers in pyrex glass containers, and this steel grid saves me from tranferring the food to a stainless steel sauce pan, or having to heat the whole oven! I just put the grid underneath the pyrex container and reheat the food. It's excellent! I've also started using it with my regular stainless steel sauce pans to heat milk - nothing sticks at the bottom! The possibilities are endless...The wire itself is heavy duty and not easy to bend, so it's sturdy and stays flat.

do not buy a pot of any size that will have left over coffee without one of these.It is amazing how fast it gets cold....also, get the lid.yes, the lid also costs extra but cold coffee ooh is not fun..
