THE BEST THERE IS!Jul 31, 2009
By Avidreader AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED PRESERVES OF ALL KINDS OF FRUITS, OF COURSE SOME MORE THAN OTHERS. AS I GOT OLDER, THE ONES I PREFERRED HAD FRUIT AS THE FIRST INGREDIENT, WERE NOT MOSTLY SYRUP AND NOT OVERLY SWEET AND HAVE NO ARTIFICIAL COLORING OR FLAVORING. THE PRESERVES OF CLEARBROOK FARMS ARE CLEARLY THE BEST ON ALL COUNTS,ARE THE BEST TASTING AND THE MOST IRRESISTIBLE.Clearbrook Farms Oregon Seedless Black Raspberry Preserves

I Never Thought I Would Live To See the Day!Dec 15, 2010
By Richard D. Fox When I actually found preserves that taste home-made. I have been to every gourmet shop in Phoenix, I have ordered from the top names in New York and all preserves just simply fall short of being excellent.
These don't. These are the best preserves I have put in my mouth since tasting my mom's home made, and that was a whole lot of years ago.
And if you want some for Christmas, I will tell you, these were shipped very fast.
better than cherry pie!Oct 19, 2011

Grteat, but not the bestJan 05, 2011
By hypocritebuster I've loved sour cherry preserves ever since I bought my first jar at the Portland, OR airport many years ago. They had a display there of Oregon grown/made foods. When I tasted the stuff at home, I was convinced and converted. Now I use only sour cherry and lingonberry preserves, the latter imported from Sweden. I ordered several more sour cherry from that source, but that was a long time ago. I lost track of the name and can't find it on Google. So far, nothing has come close to that first jar of preserves, and I've tasted a few. A friend makes sour cherry jam and jelly, and they are almost as good. The Clearbrook Farms product is great, but again, not quite like that first jar. The flavor is great; my only quibble is, it's a little too thick for my palate. Other than that, I highly recommend it. We have a jar in the fridge right now.
